If you sometimes have to wait for some of your software programs to perform a task it may be that you don't have enough RAM (random access memory). More RAM can be added to fix that that problem.
If your screen has been broken, cracked or just doesn't work anymore it can be replaced.

I build both gaming PC’s and regular desktop PC’s for normal home use and I take a lot of pride in not only building them but also in my cable management. I like a nice neat looking cables when I’m finished with the build. I’ve talked to a lot of people who tell me that they’ve built their own computers and after talking to them for a while I find out that most them only did half the job. You can buy the parts, put them together, install Windows and most of the time the PC will work but it won’t perform as well as it can but most people stop at this point. Now it needs to have all new driver updates, should be tuned, tweaked and tested so it will perform to its maximum.
The first thing that needs to be done is to flash the BIOS with the newest version. I just bought a new Gigabyte motherboard and found the BIOS version on it was F4 and I updated it to the newest version which was F12b. This means there had been at least 9 new versions since this motherboard was built. So flashing the BIOS is a must if you want everything to work properly but it has to be done very carefully. If not done properly it can shut down the whole motherboard and this seems to intimidate a lot of builders and they just won’t do it.
Next is updating all the drivers. A lot of builders think that they’ll get all the driver updates from Microsoft when they install Windows but in most cases the drivers from Microsoft are old and are not the latest drivers. To properly update to the newest drivers you must go to the manufactures websites to download them and then you install them. Some machines I’ve built have 12 to 15 different drivers to update and this can take a lot of time.
After putting the machine together I probably spend two days flashing the BIOS, updating drivers, tweaking things in the BIOS and testing after each tweak to safely get the most out of the machine. It takes a lot of time but it makes a huge difference in the performance of the PC.
I started working with the Windows Operating System around the year 2000. Sixteen years ago I opened up my own laptop to clone and install a new Solid State Drive for it. After doing so I found that I had a deep interest in computers and things progressed from there. Today I can repair about anything that can go wrong with a PC, custom build PC's and really enjoy doing it.
